Mission Statement
The mission of the Berkeley Boosters Association is to unite the Berkeley Police, businesses, and interested citizens in delivering innovative programs
that educate and prepare young people to become productive members of our multi-ethnic society. We will accomplish this
by bringing law enforcement officers, safety personnel and youth together through quality activities designed to develop discipline,
self-esteem, interpersonal skills, positive citizenship and community pride.
We are a non-profit youth organization and have been providing afterschool and summer programs for
Berkeley's youth since 1983. We expose youth to beautiful parts of their surrounding environments that they would otherwise
not have access to. Our Outdoor Education program (Outdoor Adventure Club), based in part on Outward Bound principles of exploration
and discovery, opens world of possibilites for our young people.
